Cider Mill House is the Heart of Willow
Run Farm, an active working farm.
As such we encourage our guests to visit
with the goats (Pygora fiber goats),
chickens and Guinea Hens. We are home to
a small herd of beef cattle which graze
the property and we grow and cut our own
hay. Many of the items on our breakfast
menu come directly from our gardens
and animals.

While we are a mechanized farm today,
Cider Mill House and farm are typical of
the small farms of the past and present
that contribute to the richness of
our community.

We are hands on farmers. Guests who are
here in the spring or late summer may see
us shearing the goats. The animals are fed
twice a day and guests are invited to join
us and learn  about small farming.

We have a large woodland area with
nature trails and a variety of hardwood
trees, wildflowers and plants. Guests are
invited to walk these trails and
the whole farm.

In the Fall we have a large black walnut
crop. Guests are welcome to take as many
home with them as they wish.

We have had many seminars here,
including, dying fiber with natural plants
gathered from the farm;
FAMACHA training (goat parasite
management) and stream water quality
sampling certification classes.
